After smashing Scotland, Germany given day off by Julian Nagelsmann
According to a report from Sky Sport (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), former Bayern Munich boss and current German national team manager Julian Nagelsmann gave his players off on Saturday to spend time with their families.
After smashing Scotland 5-1 to kick off the EURO 2024 tournament, Nagelsmann wanted to give the squad some personal time:
Following yesterday’s win, Julian Nagelsmann has rewarded his players by allowing their families to visit them today. “I’ll leave them alone,” said the coach. Preparations for the Hungary game will begin tomorrow.
Hungary will be a stiff test for Germany, so some time rest, recuperate, and enjoy life is likely welcome.
