COOL DIVIDEND (3.05 Haydock, nap)

Clive Cox’s three-year-old took a major step forward when a good second on handicap debut at Doncaster last time out. He showed decent pace dropped to this distance to finish just over a length behind the well-bred winner from Shadwell Stud. A 1lb rise in the weights for that highly encouraging effort is fair and he has more to offer.

FOREVER BLUE (4.40 Haydock, nb)

She aught the eye when winning on debut over six furlongs here last August. We saw this daughter of Blue Point only once more when she looked inexperienced when fifth in the Group 3 Prestige Stakes at Goodwood. Ralph Beckett has his horses in excellent form and this filly should have more to offer.

MILLITERRIES (8.15 Chelmsford, treble)

She hit the post at Redcar on handicap debut 17 days ago. She saw out this mile strongly and doesn’t need much more to get off the mark for James Fanshawe.

HUMBLE SPARK (5.05 Hamilton, Lucky 15)

He has been in fine form on the all-weather with a game win at Newcastle latest. He can repeat that switched back to turf.
