Wimbledon radio station: Channel, live streams to listen to 2024 tennis grand slam broadcast | Sporting News Canada

The third grand slam of the 2024 tennis season, is underway at Wimbledon.

On the men’s side, Carlos Alcaraz will look to repeat as the singles champion, after ousting Novak Djokovic in five seats to win Wimbledon in 2023. Alcaraz is also playing stellar tennis at the moment, having won the French Open just last month.

Djokovic is among Alcaraz’s competitors. The 37-year-old world No. 2 has won Wimbledon seven times, flourishing on the grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. World No. 1 Jannik Sinner, the champion of this year’s Australian Open, is also a favorite.

The women’s field is headlined by world No. 1 Iga Swiatek, who is coming off a French Open victory. Two Americans — Coco Gauff (No. 2) and Jessica Pegula (No. 5) — are poised to contend, too.

Meanwhile, Marketa Vonderousova, las year’s Wimbledon champion, enters the competition as the world No. 6.

Here is everything that you need to know in order to listen to Wimbledon on the radio.
