NHL RFA qualifying offer tracker: Gregor, Lundkvist among notables set to become UFAs

The NHL offseason is here, and there is plenty to watch for as free agency opens on Monday, July 1.

Among all those storylines are the plethora of pending restricted free agents who will not receive offers from their current team. The deadline for teams to issue qualifying offers is Sunday, June 30 at 5 p.m. ET.

One of the most notable and intriguing players on this list is Noah Gregor. The 25-year-old spent 2023-24 with the Toronto Maple Leafs. In 63 regular-season games, Gregor recorded 12 points (six goals, six assists) playing in a bottom-line role at around 11 minutes per game. The Alberta native has 63 points (32 goals, 31 assists) in 241 career NHL games.

Another notable is forward Alex Nylander. The first-round pick (No. 8) of the Buffalo Sabres in 2016 has played 121 NHL games with the Sabres, Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins and Columbus Blue Jackets. He has 49 points (24 goals, 25 assists) and a minus-11 rating in his six-season career, and had 11 goals and 15 points in 23 games after he was acquired by the Blue Jackets last season.
