Mystery novel “Death of a Travel Advisor” takes readers on suspenseful journey to catch a killer
“The travel business can be murder.”
If that’s not an eye-catching opening line to a book synopsis, I don’t know what is.
A new mystery novel that’s promising a tale of murder and intrigue will be out this summer – and it’s written by a travel industry expert.
Death of a Travel Advisor, the debut mystery novel by award-winning trade writer Dori Saltzman, is set to publish on July 10, 2024.
A suspenseful journey to catch a killer
Published by Gink Enterprises, the story takes readers on a suspenseful journey to catch a killer – and it keeps readers guessing.
The novel follows Gabi Feraru, a seasoned travel advisor, as she embarks on the inaugural sailing of a state-of-the-art cruise ship.
But what begins as a routine voyage quickly turns deadly, thrusting Gabi into a murder investigation that hits close to home.
With her friend Major in the crosshairs of federal investigators, Gabi must unravel the secrets of SeaCirque Cruise Line and catch a killer before it’s too late.
For the love of whodunits, the novel is perfect for “fans of cozy mysteries and amateur sleuths, as well as travel advisors looking for a heroine that could be any one of them,” reads a press release.
Saltzman’s insider knowledge of the travel industry, gained from more than 15 years of writing about cruising and the travel trade, also offers readers an authentic and thrilling experience.
Saltzman, who is based in New Jersey, has been a prominent voice in cruise and travel trade journalism since 2007.
Her passion for storytelling and exploration shines through in her writing, both professionally and creatively. Notably, she’s a First Place winner (2008) and two-time Honorable Mention winner (2022, 2023) of the North American Travel Journalists Association’s annual award.
Death of a Travel Advisor is available for pre-order now in both paperback and e-book formats. You can find it on Amazon here.
