Here’s the best Marais Executioner’s sword build in Elde Ring

After you defeat the Elemer of the Briar boss, you’ll get the Marais Executioner’s sword as a reward. This weapon scales primarily with Strength and a little bit with Arcane and Dexterity.

On top of that, it has an attack power of 94, so it can inflict massive damage. But to wield it, you’ll need 24 Strength, 14 Dexterity, and 23 Arcane.

The requirements may be high, but it’s what you’d already expect from a powerful weapon. After you’ve acquired this weapon, it’s time to set up the best build for it, which is inspired by YouTuber BastosFC. 

Recommended stats

If you’re at level 100, we recommend having the following stats to get the most out of the build. You also need to get the Briar Armor, Gauntlet, and Greaves.

  • Mind – 20
  • Endurance – 20
  • Strength – 27
  • Dexterity – 14
  • Intelligence – 10
  • Faith – 25

Seals

As far as the Seal is concerned, we recommend going with the Clawmark Seal. For a Strength build, you need to always go for a Seal that scales with Strength.

As for Clawmark, it does exactly that. However, if you have any other Seal that serves the same purpose, feel free to use it.

Talismans 

For Talismans, we suggest Ritual Sword, Rotten Winged Sword, Shard of Alexander, and Godfrey Icon. The first one raises your attack power by 10% when your health is full, while the Rotten Winged Sword amplifies your attack power with successive attacks.

As for the Shard of Alexander and Godfrey Icon, they boost the attack power of your skills by 15%. You can also replace these four with any Talismans that you have, but they should enhance the attack power in some way.

Incantations

For Incantations, you’d want to go for Golden Vow, which increases the attack and defense of your character and allies, and Flame, Grant Me Strength, which raises the physical and fire-affinity of your attack power.

Crystal Tears for the Flask

For the Flask, you need to pick the Thorny Cracked Tear and Stonebard Cracked Tear.

When used, the first one improves the attack power of successive attacks, while the second one makes it easier for you to break the stance of your enemy.
