Wednesday works: 10 graded-stakes winners are on the tab

Anisette, winner of Grade 1 races in her last two starts, worked at Santa Anita on Wednesday morning.

The 3-year-old Awtaad filly trained by Leonard Powell went four furlongs in 48.2 seconds, 14th fastest of 31 at the distance.

Anisette has an overall record of 10: 6-3-0 and four graded-stakes wins. Her win in the May 27 Gamely was her first start since she scored in the American Oaks (G1) in December.

Anisette was one of 10 graded-stakes winners with published works on Wednesday.

Anisette (Awtaad), a three-time Grade 1 winner (2024 Gamely, 2023 American Oaks, 2023 Del Mar Oaks), worked four furlongs in 48.2 seconds at Santa Anita on Wednesday morning. It was the 14th fastest of 31 works at the distance. Her previous work was nine days ago going four furlongs at Santa Anita. In her last start she won the Gamely (G1) going 1 1/8 miles on the turf at Santa Anita on May 27 for trainer Leonard Powell.

Daddysruby (Frac Daddy), a Grade 1 winner (2023 La Brea), worked five furlongs in 59.6 seconds at San Luis Rey on Wednesday morning. It was the fastest of seven works at the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago going five furlongs at San Luis Rey. In her last start she placed second in the Matron going six furlongs on the main track at Oaklawn on March 30 for trainer Peter Miller.

Storm the Court (Court Vision), a Grade 1 winner (2019 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile), worked four furlongs in 49.4 seconds at Laurel Park on Wednesday morning. It was the third fastest of 18 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed third in an allowance race going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf at Laurel Park on June 7 for trainer Lacey Gaudet.

Baby Yoda (Prospective), a Grade 2 winner (2024 True North), worked four furlongs in 49.6 seconds at Saratoga on Wednesday morning. It was the eighth fastest of 14 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won the True North (G2) going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Saratoga on June 8 for trainer Bill Mott.

Confidence Game (Candy Ride), a Grade 2 winner (2023 Rebel), worked four furlongs in 48.6 seconds at Churchill Downs on Wednesday morning. It was the 10th fastest of 21 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed seventh in an allowance race going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf at Churchill Downs on June 14 for trainer Keith Desormeaux.

Scaramouche (Munnings), a Grade 2 winner (2022 Gallant Bob), worked five furlongs in 1:01.0 at Parx Racing on Wednesday morning. It was the fourth fastest of five works at the distance.
