Newsboy’s Daily Double plus tips on every race from Thursday’s five meetings

NOISY MUSIC is fancied to return to winning form by giving her rivals weight and a beating in the It’s Racing Staff Week Fillies’ Handicap (4.20, Nap) at Nottingham on Thursday.

Showcasing’s daughter followed a debut sixth at Newcastle last November with a fourth at Southwell in January and a second at Wolverhampton at the end of April before moving from Kevin Ryan to Mick Appleby.

Her first start for her new trainer also coincided with a first foray into the handicap sphere, and Noisy Music was backed into 2-1 favourite against seven opponents at Windsor at the start of the month.

Ridden by Rossa Ryan – William Buick is in the plate today – Noisy Music netted the money with a one-length defeat of Raffles Angel.

My selection went off the even-money favourite to follow up under a 6lb penalty at Thirsk four days later but didn’t match that form with an eighth of 13 behind Profitable Edge.

The quick return to action is the most likely explanation for that below-expectations showing and, on the back of a 20-day break, Noisy Music should show her true colours.

At Newcastle, HELM ROCK, a course-and-distance victor from two visits to Gosforth Park, should not be underestimated in the JenningsBet In Kippax Seaton Delaval Handicap (4.10. nb).
