Women’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Home Opponents – UNC Wilmington Athletics

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Head women’s basketball coach Nicole Woods has announced UNCW’s non-conference home opponents for the 2024-25 campaign.

The Seahawks will host The Apprentice School, Clinton College, Longwood, West Georgia, Winthrop and MEAC Champion Norfolk State in non-conference action at Trask Coliseum this season.

 

“Our home non-conference schedule features last year’s MEAC champion Norfolk State as well as our opponent in our most exciting game last year in Winthrop,” said Woods. “We are really looking forward to showcasing our new team in front of our fans in Trask!”

UNCW enters the season under Woods armed with nine newcomers and six returnees, headlined by Coastal Athletic Association All-Rookie guard Taylor Henderson and graduate guard Evan Miller.
