Amelia’s Ward Jets will oppose the Victory Valley Royals in the final of the Nigel Hinds/Linden Amateur Basketball Association’s (LABA) Senior League following semifinal victories.

Staged at the Amelia’s Ward Hard Court in Linden, the home side, the Jets, downed the Retrieve Raiders 62-57 after halftime was locked at 25-25. Quincy Easton led the victory with a game-high 23 points, while Junior Niles supported with 12 points. On the other side, Selwyn Henry tallied 19 points, while Shemar Savoury chipped in with 10 points. Meanwhile, the unbeaten Victory Valley Royals unit won their semifinal encounter without breaking a sweat following a walkover victory against Block 22 Flames after the latter failed to take the court at the stipulated time.
