For a limited time, the 2021 co-op zombie shooter Back 4 Blood is available on Steam at a 90% discount. Gamers can currently grab Turtle Rock Studios’ Back 4 Blood for $5.99, which equals its historical low on Steam.
Back 4 Blood is commonly seen as a successor to the Left 4 Dead series. With Valve’s stubborn refusal to make a sequel to 2009’s Left 4 Dead 2, Turtle Rock Studios, which developed the original Left 4 Dead, took it upon itself to create a modern spiritual successor. There are definitely some big differences between Back 4 Blood and Left 4 Dead, but the DNA shared between the two is obvious, even at a glance. While Back 4 Blood struggled to find the same success as Left 4 Dead, there’s still a ton of fun to be had here.

An upcoming zombie shooter takes the Left 4 Dead formula and turns the survival mechanics up a few notches with permadeath and massive maps.
Gamers are currently able to grab Back 4 Blood on Steam at an awesome 90% discount, which brings the game down to match its historical low of $5.99. Despite a rough launch back in 2021, it has been patched to become one of the best co-op zombie games on the market, and is a blast to play with a few friends. However, this deal won’t last long, as it’s set to end at 10AM PT on June 24. Those considering Back 4 Blood should grab it as soon as possible, with very little time remaining on this particular promo.
Back 4 Blood Drops To $5.99 Off on Steam For a Limited Time
The 90% discount applies to the Deluxe and Ultimate versions of Back 4 Blood too, bringing them down to $8.99 and $9.99, respectively. Both versions come with all three main expansions for Back 4 Blood, including Tunnels of Terror, Children of the Worm, and River of Blood, with the Ultimate edition offering a few more digital goodies. Still, there’s a ton of value here for those who want even more from their Back 4 Blood experience.
The future of Back 4 Blood remains to be seen. Despite good DLC support, it never quite caught on in the way that Turtle Rock Studios wanted, and with the developer yet to reveal its next game, anything is possible. There was a rumor last year suggesting that Back 4 Blood 2 could be in the works, but any concrete news on this has been impossible to come by. One more attempt could be worth it for Turtle Rock Studios – Valve is still yet to confirm Left 4 Dead 3, meaning there’s still a void in a genre that many gamers remain interested in. Let’s wait and see what happens going forward.
