Phil Mickelson showed off his dancing moves in Tennessee.
LIV Golf is in Nashville at The Grove near Franklin for the circuit’s first stop in Tennessee in its short history.
Mickelson, the captain of the HyFlyers GC of LIV Golf and a six-time major champion, was at Kings Dining & Entertainment in Franklin on Thursday and took part in line dancing at the establishment with several other players, including teammates Brendan Steele, Cameron Tringale and Andy Ogletree.
Mickelson, known for being adventurous on the golf course and off, donned a black cowboy hat and bandanna during his dance. He also rocked an unbuttoned white shirt over a white T-shirt, black jeans and boots.
HyFlyers GC is 11th of 13 in the team standings heading into the Nashville event, the tour’s ninth of the season. Mickelson is 39th in the individual standings; Joaquin Niemann is the leader.
Play at The Grove kicks off at 12:15 p.m. CT Friday with a shotgun start and runs through Sunday.
