Speed figures: These are last week’s fastest stakes winners



Accede earned the highest Brisnet Speed Rating, 101, among last weekend’s stakes winners for her victory in the Grade 2 Bed o’ Roses at the Belmont at the Big A meet.

It was the second win in a row for the 4-year-old Into Mischief filly and her first in a graded stakes. With Irad Ortiz Jr. riding, she covered seven furlongs in 1:22.83 to hold on and win by a neck over Just Catherine. She earned an 88 Beyer Speed Figure.

The highest Beyer Speed Figure of the weekend went to Tuscan Sky, who won the Pegasus at Monmouth Park by 6 3/4 lengths. With Javier Castellano aboard for the Grade 1 Haskell prep, the 3-year-old son of Vino Rosso went the 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.31. He got a 100 Brisnet rating for the performance.
