The search for a man on the lam after escaping the Stephenville Correctional Centre continues.
Thirty-one-year-old Tyler Bennett escaped from the facility on Friday.
He’s described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds with numerous tattoos on his face and neck.
Bennett had been remanded to the correctional facility by the court on a number of criminal charges.
RCMP say it is possible that Bennett is hiding in the woods, but they are also warning that it is a criminal offence to harbour, or otherwise assist, a person who is unlawfully at large.
Anyone with information on Bennett’s whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
