DeChambeau surged up the leaderboard on Saturday after firing a 67 (-3) with six birdies at Pinehurst No. 2 in Pinehurst, N.C. He is just 18 holes away from winning his second career U.S. Open, as he took home first place at the 2020 tournament at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York.

How much would Bryson DeChambeau win for first place at U.S. Open?

The 2024 U.S. Open offers the richest prize money payout in major championship history, granting $21.5 million overall and a whopping $4.3 million to the winner.

For comparison, DeChambeau won $2.25 million for winning the 2020 U.S. Open.

Bryson DeChambeau LIV Golf contract

DeChambeau signed a reported four-year, $125 million contract with LIV Golf in June 2022.

That is tied with Dustin Johnson for the fourth-most lucrative contract LIV Golf, trailing Jon Rahm ($300 million), Phil Mickelson ($200 million) and Brooks Koepka ($130 million).

Bryson DeChambeau career earnings

DeChambeau has earned $37,286,287 in PGA Tour career winnings, according to Spotrac. That does not include his $125 million contract or winnings with LIV Golf.

DeChambeau’s most profitable PGA Tour season was 2021, raking in $12,926,415. He made the cut at every major, tied for third in The Players Championship and finished seventh in the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
