RCMP are turning to the public for help in locating a hitchhiker missing from Carbonear.
Police have concerns for the safety of 47-year-old Rodney Collins who was last seen in the community around 8:30 Saturday morning.
Collins is a known hitchhiker and may be in the area of downtown St. John’s.
He is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds, is balding in the front, has hazel eyes, and a tattoo on his right arm.
Collins was wearing a grey shirt and dark pants at the time he was last spotted.
Any information or sightings of Rodney Collins should be reported to the RCMP at 709-596-5014.
