During the playoffs, he played in five games, averaging 5.3 points and shooting 44% from three-point range. As Payne enters free agency, the 76ers reportedly have interest in re-signing him as a backup to point guard Tyrese Maxey.
With his one-year deal with the 76ers expiring, he’s set to hit free agency this summer. However, his recent legal troubles may raise concerns for NBA teams.
