Brock (but not Salk) is coming to Madden NFL 25
EA Sports announced early details on Madden NFL 25 on Friday. Besides their millionth promise of a great physics-based tackling system, revamped franchise mode, and other critical overhauls to gameplay, the broadcast presentation is changing.
In addition to the main pairing of Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis, there will be two other commentary teams in the game: Sunday Night Football’s Mike Tirico and FOX’s Greg Olsen (Seattle Seahawks legend, of course), as well as Kate Scott and Brock Huard.
Play-by-play never sounded so good. Two new teams join the booth to accompany Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis for the first time in eight years. Mike Tirico and former NFL TE Greg Olsen are paired up, along with Kate Scott and former NFL QB Brock Huard. These new teams are here to refresh your Madden NFL experience and bring it to life with over 42,000 fresh recordings at launch, with multiple in-season updates to keep it fresh. (New commentary on PS5®, XBOX Series X|S, and PC only)
Scott, the current television play-by-play announcer for the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers, was hired last year as the preseason voice of the Seahawks on KING-5. She’s worked nationally for the Pac-12 Network (RIP) and was one of the commentators for FOX’s coverage of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
A former Washington Huskies star and ex-Seahawks quarterback, Huard previously worked Seahawks preseason broadcasts as an analyst alongside Curt Menefee. He’s one of the top analysts for FOX on college football, and Seattle fans will be familiar with his longtime radio partnership with Mike Salk on Seattle Sports 710.
