Man found stabbed near Montfort Hospital early Thursday

An investigation is underway in connection with a stabbing in Ottawa’s east end Thursday.

Paramedics report they were called to the Montfort Hospital area at 2:45 a.m. Thursday.

They found an adult male who had been stabbed.

The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Ottawa police confirmed they were investigating the “suspicious incident.”

Police asked that anyone with information on the incident contact the East Criminal investigative Section at 613-236-1222, ext: 3566.
