USC adds 4-star edge Hayden Lowe to 2025 class

Four-star edge rusher Hayden Lowe announced his commitment to USC on Sunday, adding more talent on the line of scrimmage to the Trojans’ 2025 class.

USC is now ranked fourth nationally in the 247Sports Composite. Lowe is No. 242 overall and the No. 19 edge rusher in the class. He recently took an official visit to Miami and was slated to visit Oregon before committing to USC.

What does this mean for the Trojans’ recruiting class?

USC needs to add all of the talent it can along the defensive line. The Trojans already have a commitment from five-star Justus Terry and four-star Isaiah Gibson, two Georgia natives, along the defensive line. Landing another blue-chip prospect to that group is a solid victory for USC’s new defensive coaches. One thing that also stands out is that Lowe is a Southern California prospect. The Trojans now have 13 public commitments, and Lowe is just the third from the region.

Based on coach Lincoln Riley’s social media activity, Lowe might not be the last commit for the Trojans this weekend.
