Three people are facing charges after a drug bust in Quinte West on Wednesday.
Quinte West OPP officers served a search warrant at a home on Sidney Street, seizing what they suspect to be cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia.
Two adults and one youth were arrested at the scene.
Thirty-five-year-old Shannon Brooks and 20-year-old Courtney Gilroy were both charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Fail to comply with probation order
A 17-year-old, whose name cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was also charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Fail to comply with sentence – two counts
All three will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, at a later date.
