Where to watch West Indies vs. Uganda T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 match in US and Canada: TV channel, free live stream | Sporting News Canada

Two-time champions and co-hosts West Indies are back in Guyana and will look to make it two wins from two in the ICC T20 World Cup group stage when they take on Uganda this Saturday.

West Indies made a hassle of a 137-run chase to beat Papua New Guinea last weekend. They were never quite comfortable due to a loss of wickets at regular intervals, and at one stage they were down to 97/5.

However, in-form Roston Chase moved up a notch, firing 42 from 27 balls and remaining not out at the finish alongside Andre Russell, leading the Windies home by five wickets to open the tournament on a winning note.

After being battered by Afghanistan, it was always going to take some serious mental resilience for Uganda to dust themselves down and recover strongly. But that’s exactly what the Brian Masaba-captained side showed last time out, coming on top against Papua New Guinea in a low-scoring thriller to record their first-ever victory at an ICC T20 World Cup event and revitalize their group-stage campaign.

With the cricketing extravaganza continuing at the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup, The Sporting News has all the details on how to watch the action.
