Abbotsford students participate in summer fashion showcase at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre

Ten students from Chief Dan George Middle School style outfits, community can vote for winner

Abbotsford has the chance to vote on summer outfits at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre created by 10 junior stylists from Chief Dan George Middle School.

The students were partnered with a fashion retailer in the mall and arranged their outfits on Saturday (June 1). They will now be displayed from June 3 to 16 throughout the shopping centre.

The Grade 8 students have a passion for fashion, which was fostered in their fashion unit by teacher Josee Perron.

Felix Tielmaan and Elaine Phan worked with Boathouse, Abigail Mowes with Ricki’s, Hannah Best with SportChek, Nimrit Brar with Hudson’s Bay, Gielian Lailic with Urban Kids, Olivia Paul with Bootlegger, Hunter Moulton with Zumiez, and Kaleigh Lewis and Milo Neufeld with Below The Belt.

The stylist with the most votes will win a $500 shopping spree. Those who vote have the chance to win a $100 shopping spree.

Visit shopsevenoaks.com to vote until midnight on June 16.
