2024-25 Men’s Golf Schedule Announced – Coastal Carolina University Athletics

CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina University third-year men’s golf head coach Jacob Wilner has finalized the 2024-25 golf schedule, which includes four fall events followed by another seven events in the spring season.
 
CCU will host two events this season and will open the fall season hosting the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate on Sept. 8-10 at the Grande Dunes Golf Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
 
A week later, the Chants play in the JT Poston Invitational on Sept. 15-17 at the Waynesville Inn and Golf Club located in Waynesville, N.C. with Western Carolina serving as host.
 
The Chants continue the fall slate three weeks later at the West Bay Invitational on Oct. 6-7. Florida Gulf Coast University will serve as the host institution at the West Bay Club located in Estero, Fla.
 
CCU ends the fall schedule at the Qubein Cup, played at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., with High Point University serving as the host.
 
The Chants open the spring portion of the schedule at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate on Feb. 1-2. Georgia Southern will host the event which is being played at the Georgia Southern Golf Course in Statesboro, Ga.
 
Coastal will host its second annual Alumni Match with former Chants coming back to play in the one-day event on March 1 at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
 
The Chants return to action The Hayt on March 8-10 at the TPC Sawgrass Country Club in Point Vedra Beach, Fla., hosted by the University of North Florida.
 
The following week, the Dunes Golf and Beach Club will be the site of the popular and highly competitive General James Hackler Championship. Some of the top programs in the nation will make their way to the Myrtle Beach course on March 16-18, with the Chanticleers serving as the proud host.
 
CCU then makes the short trip to Awendaw, S.C., to play in the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate on March 23-25. South Carolina will host the event at the Bulls Bay Golf Club.
 
The Chants end the regular season with a second trip to  Estero, Fla., where they play in the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate hosted by Florida Gulf Coast at the Old Corkscrew Golf Club on April 7-8.
 
The 2025 Sun Belt Conference Men’s Golf Championship will take place on April 21-24 at the Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss.
