Leaving soon
As Microsoft brings in new titles to Xbox Game Pass, it’s also out with the old. In this case, five games will be leaving the subscription service soon, including High on Life. What’s notable here is that the comedic FPS was the biggest third-party launch ever for Game Pass in 2022. However, Palworld broke that record earlier this year.
High on Life is getting a physical edition for the first time on September 19 from Limited Run Games. In addition, there is an official graphic novel coming out for the game. While High on Life was heavily marketed as coming from Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland leading up to its release, Roiland left developer Squanch Games after domestic violence allegations went public against him. The charges were dropped before going to trial.
Joining High on Life in leaving Game Pass later this month are four other games: Rune Factory 4 Special, Spacelines From the Far Out, Bramble: The Mountain King, and The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales. No specific date has been given for their exits, though usually the removals happen on the 15th of every month. As such, expect June 15 or around then.
Also, as a reminder, Game Pass subscribers can purchase these games for 20% off while they’re still available on the service.
