Report: Schalke wonderkid Assan Ouédraogo will NOT join Bayern Munich

Over the last few weeks, it seemed as if Schalke’s Assan Ouédraogo was on track to join Bayern Munich, with the Rekordmeister ready to activate his release clause and then loan him back to the 2. Bundesliga outlet.

But in a surprising turn of events, it seems that Bayern has decided that they will no longer be going ahead with the move — according to Sky’s Florian Plettenberg (via @iMiaSanMia).

The player’s camp was officially informed from Bayern in the last few hours!

As always reported: It was never a done deal. A few final details were missing. Max Eberl and Vincent Kompany did not cross the finish line. Bayern do not want to shoulder the financial package now.
