One of the Comox Valley’s premier fundraising golf tournaments is now open for registration.
The Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation’s 32nd annual Golf Classic is a premier charity event raising funds for the Comox Valley Hospital. This year’s focus is to fundraise for special surgical tools to equip a fifth operating room for the community’s growing, aging population. Presented by Re/Max Ocean Pacific Realty, this highly anticipated event is set to take place on June 21, at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community.
Anyone who enjoys golf, whether an enthusiast, a duffer, or somewhere in between, is invited to join for a day filled with great golfing, lunch, live music, four chances to win $10,000 through hole-in-one contests, special treats on the greens (even mini massages), a delicious buffet dinner, and a live auction with incredible packages donated by generous businesses. The event is a Texas Scramble format with no minimum drives per individual, so it is an ideal opportunity for golfers of all abilities to come together as a team, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone.
Reserve a spot today. Registration closes in early June.
Another way to play in support of great care is to participate in the Work Hard Play Hard 50/50 that runs alongside the Golf Classic. This raffle has generated a significant jackpot over the years, averaging $14,000. Continue the tradition of strong support for local health care and a substantial cash prize for the winner by purchasing tickets online until 5 p.m. on June 28 (B.C. only, 19+, Gaming License #151549).
The Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation is dedicated to enhancing local healthcare by supporting acute care at the hospital, healthcare in the community, and long-term care at Cumberland Lodge, Glacier View Lodge, and Providence Living at the Views. Through fundraising and generous donations from the community, they strive for quality care for all Comox Valley residents.
