Travis Kelce Looks Shocked as He’s Booed at the NBA Playoffs, While Everyone Cheers for Patrick Mahomes
Travis Kelce showed up at the NBA playoffs on Sunday, May 26 (it was a Dallas Mavericks vs Minnesota Timberwolves game, FYI) and was immediately greeted by a chorus of boos when he was shown on the jumbotron.
The footballer arrived to watch the matchup courtside with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes and looked pretty shocked when the crowd started booing. Like…his jaw literally dropped. 😭 The camera then panned to Patrick, whom the crowd went absolutely wild for, so…guess they just weren’t feeling Trav. Note: Patrick was born and raised in Texas, so that might explain the discrepancy in reactions here.
Time to Get Your PhD in Taylor Swift
Anyway, cute seeing Trav spend time with Patrick in the off-season! These two are obviously super close, and as a result of their friendship, Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have become tight.
Back in January, an insider told Us Weekly the following: “Taylor and Brittany have grown even closer over the past several months. They have a really genuine friendship and love hanging out at the games together and cheering on their men. Brittany loves that Taylor is dating Travis, and she’s so supportive of their relationship. They have a very similar sense of humor and are always cracking jokes and laughing.”
The source then added that “Even if things didn’t work out between Taylor and Travis, Taylor feels like her friendship with Brittany would continue no matter what.”
