In more recent news, the actress took to her Instagram to post a video where she was seen boasting a black dress with a 90s hairstyle on the sets of her upcoming project.
In the now-deleted post, fans took to her comment section where they talked about how skinny Beckinsale was looking. Although some people were concerned about the actress’s health while others were simply trolling her, it was too much for Beckinsale to handle.
When others started asking the actress about her weight with questions like “You gotta eat something” and “You are super thin”, Kate Beckinsale lost it and replied to a fan in a very aggressive tone.
The post was soon deleted alongside all the comments. However, it does seem that Beckinsale is going through a tough time and may need some mental peace. In an interview with The Off Camera Show, Beckinsale revealed that when she had started working on the movie, she had really short hair.
I think I had short hair at the time and was really pale. That was a bit jarring. It was like, ‘Let’s put some hair on her, let’s put some things in her bra.’ There was a lot of that going on.
She further continued,
It was a completely new experience. And I was really in love with the script and then the new pages kept coming in, and they weren’t as good
In the end, Pearl Harbor received a rating of 6.2/10 on IMDB and a record-low of 24% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the 2001 film became a cult classic as fans enjoyed the Michael Bay action. Kate Beckinsale also became famous for her role following which, she starred in the 2003 film Underworld.
