Desk takes new and improved Jamie for a test drive to show side-by-side what’s possible after Street Fighter 6 update

It’s been almost a week since pretty much all of the Street Fighter 6 cast received some new toys to play with in the Season 2 update, and that especially includes characters that definitely needed buffs.

Desk recently dropped his latest SF6 combo video taking the new and improved Jamie for a test drive to show off side-by-side what’s possible now compared to last season.

The combo composer begins that begins with a swanky OTG string made doable now that Jamie’s crouching medium punch is +5 on hit and allows him to naturally combo into Overdrive Swagger Step for a nice increase in both his damage and options.

After a sweet Super conversion, he also shows how Ransui Haze can actually combo now too as well as allowed him to get follow-ups off of Hermit’s Elbow at drink level 4.

There’s plenty more sauce on display that only Desk can provide here, and it’s cool to see how these buffs and changes can be applied in some ways you may not expect at first.

The skilled musician and lab monster seems to be having quite a bit of fun with the new balance patch since he’s also made combo videos for Akuma, Zangief and even the hidden boss SiRN Akuma too.

We apparently won’t need to wait a full year for another balance update either since SF6’s Director recently revealed they plan on releasing more than one in Season 2.
