Travis Kelce’s golf swing might have gone a bit off-course, landing a golf ball squarely on an unsuspecting spectator. But in true Kelce fashion, he quickly transformed from tight end to caretaker, rushing to the man’s side with genuine concern.

On the first shot at hole 16 of the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament, Kelce’s golf shot went wild. The ball soared and connected with an unsuspecting spectator who was there to take in the scenes of celebrities, including Bills All-Pro quarterback Josh Allen, actor Don Cheadle, WWE superstar The Miz, and Stanley Cup winner Matthew Tkachuk.

Video footage revealed the aftermath of the wayward shot. A police officer huddled around the stricken spectactor, taking their information and checking if they needed medical help.

But Kelce didn’t just move on. In a heartfelt gesture, the back-to-back Super Bowl champion pinpointed the fan, strolled over, kissed the injured arm, and gently rubbed the spot with an embrace before continuing to the next hole.

The fan seemed to escape unscathed, prompting a wave of playful comments from fans, especially those who appeared to be Swifties. One sarcastic fan wrote on X, “Goal for next year… position myself so that I can be hit by Travis’s golf ball.” Another added, “Travis can hit me with a golf ball anytime.”

Another fan couldn’t resist poking fun at Kelce’s golf skills, humorously questioning, “How good can Travis possibly be at golf if he’s hitting fans in the first place?” After round one of the competition, Kelce is tied for 62nd place in a field of 90 with a score of -2.
