Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez jumps into the crowd and starts punching FANS
Uruguay’s loss to Colombia in the Copa America semifinals was capped off in extremely ugly fashion as Darwin Nunez fought with fans in the stands afterwards.
The Liverpool forward, who endured a frustrating night in front of the goal, could be seen throwing punches in a video in scenes after the 1-0 defeat.
Nunez was held back by security as he raged at Colombia supporters in Charlotte North Carolina.
The 25-year-old sprung into action after a man in a black polo shirt and a credential around his neck began punching a nearby Colombia fan.
Supporters screamed as the unfortunate fight unfolded nearby.

A Colombia fan could also be seen throwing a drink at Nunez and his Uruguay teammates with Jose Gimenez and Ronald Araujo among those to enter the stands as well.
Maximiliano Araujo and Sebastian Caceres were also among those spotted near the fans.
Gimenez said on TV afterwards that the players’ families – sitting in close proximity to the fans – were ‘avalanched’ by supporters.
‘This is a disaster, our families are in danger,’ he said. ‘Not one single policeman.’
The families were also escorted out of the stadium through a different exit to ensure their safety, according to reporter Favian Renkel.
Uruguay manager Marcelo Bielsa was also asked about the scenes after the match,’ and said he ‘didn’t see everything.’
‘I went to the locker room…the Uruguayan players were thanking the Uruguayan fans for their support,’ he continued.
