Tanga Loa Money in the Bank Botch Became Joke Backstage
Tanga Loa is part of the Bloodline but did not participate in the main 6-man tag team match that concluded the Money in the Bank premium live event. Although present at ringside and involved in a few spots, he made some noticeable errors.
During the main event, Tanga Loa was supposed to deliver a low blow to Kevin Owens. However, his first attempt missed the mark and hit Owens in the buttocks. The second attempt was also poorly executed.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that there was a lot of light-hearted joking backstage about Tanga Loa’s botched move, which included hitting Kevin Owens in the butt and then accidentally striking Tama Tonga in the head.
It remains to be seen what Tanga Loa’s next steps in WWE will be. Fans found the botch amusing and shared other memorable botched moves from NJPW, enjoying the moment at Tanga’s expense.
