Unseen footage! India’s T20 World Cup victory parade from the lens of the fan who climbed a tree – Times of India
The fan who climbed a tree to get up close to the Indian team’s victory parade in Mumbai onboard an open-top bus made a lot of news even as clips of players reacting in surprise went viral. But how the view looked from the camera of that fan was not in public domain until a video surfaced on social media.
A sea of fans emerged at the Marine Drive on Thursday when the team arrived in Mumbai following their meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. The T20 champions landed in Delhi on July 4 after a delay of a few days caused by a hurricane in Bridgetown, Barbados, after Rohit Sharma & Co won the trophy there on June 29 with a seven-run thrilling win over South Africa in the final at the Kensington Oval.
