UC Cup launches with new major partner | Cricket ACT
Cricket ACT is proud to announce its partnership with the University of Canberra (UC) as the naming rights partner for the annual junior pre-season tournament – the UC Cup.
Formerly known as the Kookaburra Cup, this thrilling Twenty20 competition is back in 2024, and we invite young cricketers to be part of the action with expressions of interest now open.
What Is the UC Cup?

- Mission: Our goal remains unchanged: to showcase Australia’s beloved sport of cricket to aspiring young players.
- Objectives: The UC Cup focuses on two key aspects: participation and enjoyment.
- Format: Expect fast-paced, thrilling Twenty20 matches that highlight talent and teamwork.
- Competitions: The UC Cup features two stages: Stage 2 (indicative age Under 13) and Stage 3 (indicative age Under 16).
- Open to All: Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, the UC Cup welcomes everyone.
