6 UH football games primed for national broadcast | University of Hawaiʻi System News

Half of the University of Hawaiʻi football schedule will be televised nationally this season, including a rare appearance on network television.

UH‘s home game against UCLA, August 31, will air on CBS with a 1:30 p.m. HST kick off. It marks the program’s first appearance on network television since 2012 and first home game on network television since 2005.

Three other games will be picked up by CBS Sports Network as part of the Mountain West’s television package—October 5 at San Diego State (2 p.m. HST), October 12 vs. Boise State (5 p.m. HST) and November 9 vs. UNLV (4 p.m. HST).

In addition, UH‘s road game at Washington State, October 19, will be broadcast on The CW while its September 14 road game at Sam Houston will be streamed on ESPN+.

This season marks the fifth year of the Mountain West’s six-year television contract with CBS Sports and FOX Sports. The Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship Game will be nationally televised on FOX, December 6.

Additional broadcasts by Spectrum Sports will be announced in the coming weeks.
