2024 LIV Golf Nashville: Prize Money Breakdown and Winner’s Payout
After Carlos Ortiz’s maiden victory in Houston and Bryson DeChambeau’s exceptional performance at the U.S. Open, the breakaway circuit has again come together for the ninth event of the year. Taking place at the private club, The Grove, skillfully designed by Greg Norman himself, LIV Golf Nashville has only one round left before declaring the winner at Music City.
The 54 players are playing for the black trophy and the $25 million prize purse. With how LIV Golf has set up itself, the $25 million gets divided into $20 million for the individual event and the remaining $5 million for the top three teams on the leaderboard at the end of the event. The prize purse for the individual is identical to what the PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship has on offer for the 71-player field.
The individual winner of LIV Golf Nashville will bag $4 million, while the runner-up will suffice with $2.25 million. On the other hand, the winning team will get $3 million and the second-best team will take home a check of $1.5 million to be distributed amongst the four teammates.

As the stakes are high, who could win the inaugural LIV Golf Nashville? As the sold-out crowd cheers for him wildly, Bryson DeChambeau is the fan favorite, as they want him to win two weeks in a row. Has the 2-time U.S. Open winner played well enough to be in contention on the last day?
Exploring Bryson DeChambeau’s chances of winning LIV Golf Nashville
Bryson DeChambeau arrived at The Grove tired after his incredible win at Pinehurst No. 2. The 30-year-old described himself as a “zombie” and “dead man walking” with all the fatigue taking over him. However, the fan’s support once again recharged him as he took to sail LIV Golf Nashville too.

It was impressive to see that, despite being worn out, DeChambeau has been in the top 5 on the leaderboard after two rounds of conclusions. On the opening day, the Modesto native shot six birdies and two bogeys for a tie for fourth. Coming to the second last day, DeChambeau improved himself and took the T3 position.
He carded three birdies and two bogeys in the front nine. However, at the back, DeChambeau did not make any mistakes and made four more birdies to finish with an aggregate of 9 under 133. Only 18 holes remain and with the way the 30-year-old has been playing, it seems far more plausible that DeChambeau might take the $4 million winner’s check and his third LIV trophy home!
