2024 Big3 Basketball Week 4 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Sunday (7/7)

The 2023-24 NBA season may have ended, but summer basketball is just beginning! And we’ll have you covered for all of the summer hoops 2024 offers at BettingPros. The Big3 is a 3-on-3 basketball league founded by Ice Cube featuring some of the best players ever to hit the hardwood. Games will take place each weekend through the regular season, and we’ll have picks for each and every Big3 matchup. Let’s take a look at the best odds, picks, and predictions for this week’s Big3 basketball action.

2024 Big3 Basketball Best Bets: Week 4

Here are our best bets for this week of Big3 basketball action.

Trilogy vs. 3 Headed Monsters

It has been a rough start to the season for the Trilogy (0-3). But there seems to be a common thread in all three losses—they have yet to play a complete game. They played well in one half of each game; if they could put together a complete game, they’d have a good shot at beating anyone. Since getting their first win in Week 1, the 3 Headed Monsters have struggled, but they nearly came from behind last week against the undefeated Bivouac. After falling behind 26-14 at the half, they tied the game up at 43-43 before losing 51-45. Both teams have their issues; whoever can turn in a complete game will likely get the win. After watching the 23-2 run by Bivouac against 3 Headed Monsters last week, we have a little more faith (but not much) in Trilogy.

Pick: Trilogy +2.5 (-114)

– Travis Pulver

Enemies vs. Tri-State

The Enemies were their own worst ‘enemies’ last weekend vs. the Aliens, as foul trouble helped them fall behind early. However, their superior talent eventually won out, and they secured the win, 51-45, to remain undefeated. After a dismal performance in Week 1, Tri-State has played two solid games to improve to 2-1. Jason Richardson and Kevin Murphy form a dynamic duo and are both inside the top seven scorers in the league. As their chemistry continues to improve, they are only going to get better. Both teams are playing good basketball; the winner will likely be whoever makes the fewest mistakes. We see this as a really close game between two great teams. But because of the Enemies’ issues last week against an inferior Aliens team, we like Tri-State to hand them their first loss of the season.

Pick: Tri-State ML (+114)

– Travis Pulver

Aliens vs. Triplets

This line is honestly shocking. The Triplets have rattled off back-to-back double-digit victories after losing 50-44 to the Enemies in Week 1. The Enemies are the only undefeated team remaining in the Big 3, and the Triplets actually led at halftime of their game against them. The Aliens are no slouch. They fell 51-44 to the Enemies in Week 3, after a dominant performance against the Ball Hogs in Week 2. But what have the Aliens doen to be favored by 4.5 points in this game? Nothing. To get the Triplets +4.5 at +100 is way too good to pass up.

Pick: Triplets +4.5 (+100)

– Phil Wood

Ball Hogs vs. Power

The Power’s performance in Week 3 is one of the worst in league history, as they lost 51-30 to the Triplets. Glen Rice Jr. was the only player to score in double figures with every other player scoring six or fewer. Because of that game, they are 2.5-point underdogs against the Ball Hogs. But the Ball Hogs haven’t been great this season either. They fell 51-47 to the Ghost Ballers last week, after losing by 15 to the Aliens in Week 2. This spread seems to have been made with only the Power in mind. And when a team of professionals gets embarrassed one week, they generally come out and play well the next. Does this trend extend to the Big 3? We think it does. Take the Power to cover and possibly win.

Pick: Power +2.5 (-110)

– Phil Wood

Ghost Ballers vs. 3’s Company

The Ghost Ballers escaped the Ball Hogs with a 51-47 win last week. They’re now 2-1 on the season after Chris Johnson led the squad with 17 points in the win. However, Johnson has only shot 41.9% this season, and no player with regular minutes has shot better than 44% from the field for the Ghost Ballers. They’ll take on the 3’s Company, now 2-1, after defeating Trilogy.. 3’s Company cruised to a victory after leading by 11 points at the half. They’re led by Michael Beasley, who currently leads the entire Big 3 with 59 points. Beasley scored 22 points last time out and has already shot 44.2% from the field despite the heavy volume. Therefore, let’s back 3’s Company to earn a win at -130.

Pick: 3’s Company ML (-130)

– Jason Radowitz

Killer 3s vs. Bivouac

Bivouac is still undefeated after its win over the 3 Headed Monsters. They’re ultimately just a very balanced team with many weapons. Corey Brewer, Garlon Green, and Gerald Green have all scored at least 32 points this season. Still, neither of those three players has even shot 40% from the field. So that’s the concerning part. However, the not-so-concerning part is that Bivouac will take on the Killer 3’s, who lost 50-34 against Tri-State last week. The Killer 3’s are 0-3 and barely scored the previous week. Ultimately, they ran out of gas in the second half, scoring just 11 points in the loss. While Donte Greene leads the team in scoring, he only scored eight points last week. Plus, he’s now 3-for-20 from downtown despite his 52 points this season. Let’s take Bivouac to keep the undefeated streak alive.

Pick: Bivouac -4.5 (-114)
